‘MLX11 Coffee Crawl’

Start time: Meet at 10.30am for 11.15am departure

Given the size and nature of Melbourne cafes, it is impossible to book on weekends, and we cannot fit in the entire group of 20 people in one cafe. So, this is will be a split-up tour with some help – the idea is to form up into smallish groups of 4-5 people and choose 3-5 places and go around in your own order, hopefully with at least one local Melbournite per group.

The plan is to meet at Federal Coffee Palace (the corner of Bourke St and Elizabeth St) on Saturday, starting at 10:30. We then form up into groups (according to whether you want to have brunch, and how you wish to travel) and depart in those groups at 11:15. If you can’t make that time and/or place, no problem, the list of places is presented for you to make your own way at any time.

If you can organise yourself into an appropriate group ahead of time, that would be great. Please use the MLX ’11 Coffee Crawl facebook event to talk. Especially, if you’re coming with a car and have spaces, please let us know so we can help organise people on the day.

‘Swing Mafia Pub Crawl’

Start time: 12.30pm

Start venue: Little Creatures Dining Hall, 222 Brunswick St, Fitzroy (winding its way through the streets of Melbourne and finishing up at the Last event of MLX.)

Hosts: Steve and Laura Hartshorne

This years crawl will wander through some of Melbourne’s best Pubs & shopping districts with loads of fun, dancing, food and games through out the day.

This is a Poker Pub Crawl … so over the day you’ll be collecting cards and trying to get the best poker hand you can buy collecting a new card at each pub.
You can buy as many hands as you want to play ($2 per hand)

The crawl will finish just down the street about a block from the final MLX11 venue, Y dance.
