Volunteer

You can opt to be a volunteer by registering for an $80 volunteer pass. Just select the ‘Volunteer’ option when you’re taken to the Eventhand website.

Volunteering is a great way to make your MLX 11 weekend a little easier on the pocket. For just a few hours of your time, you pay just $80 instead of the full price of $120.

Volunteers are required for:

1) Pre-event set up: Help the event manager with sound, lighting and stage set-up, or the decorations head with putting up posters, streamers etc, or the event manager with opening the venue.

2) Post-event clean-up: Helping with bump-out and clean-up of the venue.

3) Door and ticketing: Being a friendly face at front-of-house for those coming in, cash-handling.

4) Kitchen duties: Keeping the water and snacks flowing in the kitchen

5) Go-fer, clean-up, etc: This usually doubles up with kitchen duties. You may be required to go out and purchase extra materials, pass messages on for the event manager or do a quick round of picking up cups and bottles left around.

We also need special volunteers who have lots of spare time in the lead-up to do more grunt work. You could get a full MLX pass for your time. For more information, contact us.
